Prosecutors have said they will seek the death penalty for Kevin Ray Underwood, 26, accused of strangling Jamie Rose Bolin.
After Underwood’s arrest, police and prosecutors revealed grisly details of the crime, saying Underwood raped the girl’s corpse and planned to eat her flesh. A medical examiner’s report released later indicated there were signs of sexual assault, but could not determine if they were inflicted after her death. TORONTO (CC) – On May 12, 2003, Holly Jones was abducted from her home safe-zone. After a citywide plea for assistance, some time passed before her family found out of what happened to their beloved 10-year old.
Holly Jones was playing near her Toronto area home when she was abducted, later to be found dead. It’s unfortunate to know that her neighbourhood has always been a safe place for children to go about their daily activities. Everything has changed.
After nothing turned up of a citywide search, Michael Biere was found to be the man behind these ghastly acts. He was arrested June 20 of last year.
On the day of Holly’s disappearance, she was grabbed by the neck and dragged to Briere’s area-home.
The details following her initial abduction are horrifying: She was undressed, assaulted, murdered and stored in the refrigerator of Briere’s home.

Canada/USA should invoke heavier sentences on those who put our children in danger everyday. The reality, though, is that children must be kept ever so close to home. Child minders are expected to be those who should be the most trusted.
