Target:
Nutley District
Region:
United States of America

Nutley residents would like a solution for the giant puddle collecting at the Yantacaw school entrance by the footbridge off of Passaic Avenue. Socks and shoes are getting soaked, pedestrians are holding onto the wrought iron fence for balance to cross the path, and at times people are sliding across a dangerous sheet of ice as the temperature drops.

Perhaps leveling the concrete or a drainage pipe to the adjacent river would alleviate this issue permanently and keep our pedestrians safe and dry.

We, the undersigned, call on the Nutley district to find a solution to make the sidewalk at the school entrance by the footbridge on Passaic Avenue safer.

Fix the low-lying ground so water does not collect and create a dangerous path for students and their families who walk to school each day.

Make our walking community safe.
