Students of Scott County it is time to exercise our rights! Students should not have to deal with the inconvenience of someone walking in on them while they are using the toilet. We need to supplement the quality of our toilet facilities, expedite the approval of central office, and promote safety for the general welfare of the students and the staff.
Public restrooms in our schools do not meet the adequate standards of the privacy and security that we need.
We need locks on our stalls, there is no room for a secure setting, nor privacy, and it violates the codes of the public restrooms. *These stalls have no occupancy indication on them.
Yes, I understand, there may be a problem with locking the stalls; People smoking in them or committing other mischief may be an issue. But, Should we punish the innocent? That is not how our system should work! I want to make sure our facilities are a safe and secure place.
