Across the country, people are making homemade "ghost" guns that are untraceable by the ATF and police. This causes police to run into a dead end when trying to connect a weapon to a single person found at a crime scene. It also allows those who could not pass a background check to legally obtain a firearm.
We, the law-abiding citizens of the United States, call upon the attorney general and senate to put forth a law prohibiting the loophole that currently allows people within the country to assemble a firearm in their home without a background check.
