I would like thios to ahppen beacuse, I am a pet lover and owner and my dog loves to run and get excercise how can she do that with a leashe on. She also likes to play with other dogs.
I have had my currnet dog for 1 year and I take her to the park everyday or at least everyother day and I have never seen any dog get out of control.
The dogs love to run and chase eachother, swim, and play ball or fetch how can they do that with a leash?
We the pet lovers of rochester call on the town of Brighton to lift our leash laws for Elison Park, and allow our dogs to run and be abel to play and iteract with one another.
At Elsison park there is a path that goes to an open area with a small river, where many dog owners take thier dogs to run ,swim, and play with one antoher.The dogs are all very happy and play well with eachother. It is impossible for the dogs to play iwht a leashe on them. They like to swim across the river and play fetch or chase eachother.
We are asking the court to allow us to let our dogs play with out being ticketed. I understand there are parks in Greece, and Webster that allow this. But as a city resident and the outragous price of fuel I am not going to drive to tiose areas when Elsion park is just down the road in the neighborhood.
As a city resident many of us lack backyards or the space to let our animals excercise, so this is a great wide open space for dogs to run.
