I believe a number of Albertans are being misdiagnosed with various Autoimmune Disorders as Alberta does not screen patients for Lyme Disease.
So in Alberta there is low reporting of actual cases resulting in a number of patients not receiving the best treatment.
We the undersigned want the Alberta Government to make Lyme Disease testing mandatory when a patient has ambiguous symptoms.
The government should also support antibiotic treatment for patients who test positive.
