Dear Residents,

Attached you will find a link to an electronic petition opposing the proposed development plans for re-zoning of the 37.2 acre Marshall Tract, located at 1300 Lost Creek Blvd. A developer has filed an application to change the zoning of the tract from single-family residential to Planned Unit Development (PUD), which would allow the construction of a 5 story office building adjacent to the neighborhood and a 7 story office building adjacent to 360, and either a multi-family assisted living facility or a City of Austin fire station.

We have been in discussions with the developer, but at this point in time we have received no information that the developers will alter these plans to address the neighborhood’s concerns. If the development plans are altered to your satisfaction anytime up to the city council’s vote on the re-zoning, you may remove your signature from this petition.

We will notify you when the petition is finalized and has been sent to the City of Austin. If you wish to rescind your name after that time, you can do so by emailing the case manager at the City of Austin, Sherri Sirwaitis, at sherri.sirwaitis@austintexas.gov.

I own or rent real property in the vicinity of the Marshall Tract located at 1300 Lost Creek Boulevard (the “Property”), and I oppose the proposed rezoning of the Property to PUD (City of Austin Case No. CD-2014-0015).

I believe the proposed PUD zoning and the proposed development plans are incompatible with the surrounding single-family neighborhood.
