We demand compensation from the Ministry of National Defence due to high noise level made by fighter flights from Šiauliai airbase as part of NATO’s Baltic Air Policing.
The Baltic air-policing mission is a NATO air defence Quick Reaction Alert (QRA) in order to guard the airspace over the three Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
Such payments have already been made to the inhabitants of Denmark, which is also a member of NATO.
