As part of people's exercise of democratic power, we demand for the resignation of all former ruling party ministers from the current government starting with the minister of finance Hon Ken Lipenga after new revelations showing he lied to the nation on the MRA revenue collection figures.
Such unethical conduct by a senior cabinet minister is deplorable and cannot be tolerated. We call for President Joyce Banda to institute an investigation over 'clear evidence of a breach' of the ministerial code and also fire the whole MRA board pending investigations. Malawian people need to know, in these difficult times…that there is probity and integrity in the way government is run'.
