Unfortunately we were unable to prevent the nursery from closing and were all very sad to say goodbye. Thank you to everyone who tried to help us.
Lilliput Day Nursery is managed by Cardiff County Council's Children Services Dept. on behalf of a Consortium of local government departments and agencies led by the Welsh Assembly Government.
The nursery provides day care for the children of the employees of the consortium and also has a number of private places available for the general public.
The Welsh Assembly are planning on closing the nursery at the end of March 2009. The closure was planned without any parental consultation.
The nursery provides the very highest standard of childcare in a safe, stimulating and secure environment. It would be an injustice to lose such a valuable service provider.
Please sign our petition and help us to stop the nursery from closing.
