Background (Preamble):
We the 99% in solidarity with our fellow occupiers in St Pauls London and other cities across the world wish to peacefully and cleanly occupy the cathedral grounds to educate the public and end poverty and injustice across the globe, we are dedicated to peaceful responsible protest.
We wish to use the Cathedral as it represents the centre of the financial district and is safer than our current site in Victoria Square. We respect the church and its role in society.

We the undersigned call on the Diocese of Birmingham to allow the Occupy Birmingham protest camp to use the cathedral grounds for an indefinite period of clean peaceful protest.
