Land Management Reorganization Focus Group to Reflect all ESC classifications

On February 3, 2014, the Director of Land Management, Sheryl Bilbrey, sent an email notifying the employees under her organization there would be a reorganization and input from the Land Management group would be welcomed in the form of a focus group, and ESC was currently engaged, and would be providing the names of the representatives for the focus group.
No emails were sent by ESC to its members of the Land Management organization asking for volunteers or input on how the panel representatives should be selected. Many members assumed the focus group would be compromised of existing union shop stewards throughout the different offices and classifications, but this was not the case. ESC never had any communication with its members about this, and yet, ESC still managed to provide the names of nine participants that only cover three classifications within the entire organization.
We, as members of ESC in good standing whose classifications were excluded from the Land Management Reorganization focus group, call upon our fellow brethren for support in aiding us to have ESC rectify this situation and allow us to participate in something that will impact us greatly.
