The local Fort Pierce Westwood FFA Chapter has a 640 acre Ag Farm off of Picos Rd in Fort Pierce Florida. There are people right now that are trying to take our Ag Farm away from us. This Ag Farm means ALOT to the FFA kids. For many years this Ag Farm has been the home to all of the Fort Pierce Westwood FFA show animals.
It has also been a place where lots of children have learned about agriculture and how to run/work on a farm with livestock. Now all of a sudden after all those former years of FFA members working on this farm, they are trying to get rid of it.
All of us kids want this farm, it shouldn't be the adults' choice, it should be us kids. Please help us keep OUR farm!
Everyone should think about what the kids want. Former and present FFA kids have put ALOT of their time into the Ag Farm off of Picos Rd. Adults dont fix the fences out there, adults don't check on the cows daily, adults don't plow the fields, so why should they choose whether or not we get to keep our Ag Farm.
The FFA kids LOVE the Ag Farm off of Picos Rd., alot of us have Many good memories out there. We know that our farm might not be the most state of the art but it doesnt bother us.
