The residents of McKillop Drive and surrounding areas ask to keep McKillop Drive a no-through road by creating a cul-de-sac. Our families have come to enjoy the quietness and security that our street provides.
The plans from InSight Developments for the area (North of Despard Ave, between Craig St and Hwy 4A) calls for McKillop Dr to be a through road to the new development. The City of Parksville has set precedence by keeping other streets in the city no-through roads. A few examples of this are - Bass Ave., Kingsley St, Ermineskin Ave and McKinnon St.
We wish to keep McKillop Drive a no-through road by creating a cul-de-sac.
