Background (Preamble):
This petition is to help the mother of a murdered son. Jamie Griffin was a student at Dulaney Valley High School in 1982. In the 1990s his remains were found a shallow grave in Gunpowder Falls State Park.
Michael Whittlesey was convicted of this homicide and sentenced to death. This was overturned and he's serving a life sentence. He has had one parole hearing in 2003, another one in the future.
