THIS IS AN INFORMATIONAL NOTICE REGARDING A DISTRICT PROPOSAL.
The district is proposing eliminating middle school bus service from our Dominion of Great Hills neighborhood to Canyon Vista. You may already be aware of this, but if not, see:

RRISD wants to cut costs and is planning on implementing a "walk zone" that is within 2 miles of the school. As the proposal stands DOGH will lose the bus to Canyon Vista starting next school year. And to think they just pushed through a bond last November which included more money to buy busses. Believe it or not the panel host explained that the money was only allocated to buy busses, not to run them.
There is only one more public hearing left (March 2 @ McNeil HS) and I urge all Dominion residents to participate and let your voice be heard.
