Rosdeep Adekoya has admitted in court to killing her 3 year old son Mikaeel Kular.

As described in this report: Rosdeep Adekoya pleaded guilty to repeatedly punching her son and causing his body to hit against a hard object or inflicting blunt injuries on his head and body. His condition worsened over days, when she beat him again. She did not take him to a doctor. He became quiet with limited response and "would have been in significant pain".
He died with 40 separate injuries to his body, including bruises to his back, chin and cheek, trauma to the brain, haemorrhage in the spinal cord and injuries to his arms.
The crown said this "fell short of the wicked recklessness required for murder". But surely a jury should decide if it was murder?
We, the undersigned, call for Rosdeep Adekoya to be charged with the murder of Mikaeel Kular, and plea bargains for lesser charges not accepted.
