Petition Background (Preamble):
On August 8, 2011 at approximately 7:15 PM my Morkie Jordan was attacked by a vicious Pit Bull. My dog was definitely mischievous always wanting to play. He got out of the house while we were away and ventured to my next door neighbors yard who were having a BBQ in their front yard. He began to play with their daughter and I guess hang out till we returned.
The neighbor to the right of them just moved in a couple of weeks ago has a VICIOUS pit bull. That neighbor came out with his dog and proceeded to let the animal off the leash and it attacked my little 10lb morkie. Jordan didn't stand a chance once the animal locked on to his neck. He then proceeded to take my dog in his house as my neighborhood watched in HORROR.
My neighbors looked frantically for my dog as I pulled in the driveway and learned of the devastating, heartbreaking news of what had happened. The neighbors couldn't find Jordan anywhere. I banged on the door as the owner answered he stated "What was I knocking for?" I asked where was my dog , he said he didn't know what the HELL I was talking about" and that if I didn't leave the doorway he would SIC his dog on me!!!!!! After frantically trying to locate my dog I went to get my other dog out of the house and he found him lying/dying underneath the Gold Maxima which we later found out the Vicious owner had thrown him out like yesterday's trash. My dog had survived and was terrified. The LAPD were on hand but lended no help in the situation. I got my dog to the hospital but his injuries were too severe to survive.
Our best option was not to let him suffer any longer than he had to and we opted to let him go in peace. That was the worst 15 seconds of my life.

Petition:
I would like VICIOUS Pit Bull to be euthanized by intravenous injection just as I had to watch my dog get euthanized. Although I believe the owner created this monster I feel the dog has to be put down.
We live in a neighborhood where everyone has dogs and this was an incident that could have been avoided. I urge you to sign my petition to let owners know that this will NOT be TOLERATED!
