Approximately 100,000 American horses are slaughtered inhumanely in slaughter houses. They ride cramped in trailers for days without food and water just to be shot in the head and still alive to have their throat cut to breathe their last breath.
This is cruel and inhumane. Horses have stood beside us in war, carried us across the country, plowed our fields, they remain loyal at all times to us. Is slaughter the only thanks they get?
We, the undersigned, ask our State Senators, President Barrock Obama, the United States Congress to stop slaughtering our horses.
Horses undergo severe pain and suffering when slaughtered. We do not want horse slaughtering reopened.
Just Say NO to Horse Slaughter.
