Re: Planning Application No: 07/00271/F for Ivy Road, Norwich. We do not oppose the construction of a care home.

1. We do oppose the application in its current form.

2. We think a reduction in size of the care home from proposed 94 bed to 50 bed would better suit the area. We question the planning for parking in the office building area as the future occupants are 'Unknown'

3. We a very concerned over the Highway safety/access and inconvienience to the North Earlham Fire Station. The noise pollution and traffic mayhem construction/visitors and tradespersons will cause in the short and long term.

4. We oppose the uprooting of the established tree that is currently under a preservation order. It is an established tree and the only one visable from the roadside next to the Fire Station. Its removal will not be adequatly replaced by new planting.

We, the undersigned, are opposed to planned size of the 94 bed Care home/Office complex, this should be more carefully considered and be reduced in size. We want the access road to be more carefully considered and planned. We want consultation with The Norfolk Fire Brigade over traffic concerns they may have. Off Rd parking for future staff/visitors etc so as not to congest Ivy Rd and access to Roe Drive.

The planning to be reviewed so as to incorporate the Tree which has a current Tree Preservation Order on it next to the Fire Station in the final scheme. It enhances the view north along Ivy Rd and should not be removed.
