Gold Coast residents receive un-itemised bills from the local council and private contractor Allconnex that only states "water" is the service being charged for, when there is more than water being sent through the taps.
The Queensland Bligh government recently made fluoridation mandatory in drinking water which is an added expense, yet it's never mentioned in water bills.
Supermarkets, plumbers, lawyers, main roads department, doctors and mechanics etc. all have itemised bills--So should the Gold Coast City Council.
GCCC Mayor, you're happily sending the citizens invoices for water usage costs -- please also include the cost of fluoride charged during that same water usage.
