Since the June 12th presidential election in Iran hundreds of people have been brutally beaten and murdered for their opposition to the result.
Government forces have also been using intimidation tactics on the streets, as well as invading people's homes in order to silence their voices.
The world can not afford to let the voices of millions of Iranian protesters go unheard. The European Union must take action to stop the human rights violations in Iran.
We, the undersigned, call on the European Union to take an active role in pressuring the government of Iran to stop it's human rights violations against the people, and to allow them to express their opposition.
If Iran refuses to follow, then we urge the EU to ask its governments to recall their ambassadors from Iran with immediate effect.
