Background (Preamble):
For years grandparents sacrificed their time and raise grandchildren but their contribution to society is not well recognised.
For those who were never raised by parents but by grandparents we would love to have a day celebrated in honour of our grandparents.

We the undersigned call on the powers that be to institute a day for grandparents for grandchildren worldwide to show our appreciation.
