While waiting for a family member to come out of surgery I tried to find out from several VA Hospital employees what his status was. After several unsuccessful attempts I became more frustrated and confronted a doctor about the situation. He promptly had hospital security escort me out of the hospital.
It would benefit many family members and veterans if a simple TV display was installed, like many other hospitals already have, with basic information about the patients' status.
We, the undersigned, call on the VA to install TV monitors to inform patient family members about the status of the patient.
