This petition is to get the Cattaraugus County DPW to install a 4-Way Stop with Flashing Red Light at the intersections of County Rt 18, Chapel Hill Road, and Howe Hill Road, in Humphrey, NY.
Just recently a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed attempted to turn right onto Chapel Hill Road, and took out the stop sign and traveled through a lawn, and overturned into a field.
We have spoken with employees of the County who tell us that enough "incidents" have not been reported, so at this time nothing can be done.
Please sign this petition if you feel that this intersection is not safe, and you agree that more injuries or a death should not have to happen to get them to respond.
We, the undersigned, call on the Cattaraugus County Department of Public Works, to install a 4-way stop with flashing red light at the intersection of County Route 18, Chapel Hill Road, and Howe Hill Road, Humphrey, NY.
