When European colonists settled in Australia they treated the Aboriginal people extremely differently to how they treated their fellow white men. The Aboriginals were not seen as people by the Europeans and as a result they were victims of extreme oppression and had no rights or freedoms, the Europeans killed and tortured the aboriginals, and Since then Aboriginal people have fought to be treated equally to the white men through various different ways.Indigenous people are still recognised as being vulnerable, marginalised, and disadvantaged among the world's population. aboriginals are spread across the world and number to about 370 million in about 90 countries. They make up about five percent of the world’s population, fifteen percent of the world is poor and about a third of the world's extremely poor. i feel for them more than you could imagine as a woman of colour and someone who is a part of the minority, i feel the way my fellow aboriginals feel and how it may impact life. I have continuously been racially profiled more then i can count and seen less then not just by white man but by most people i come in contact in my everyday life because of the colour of my skin and i the country i happen to come from its extremely shameful and shows how i am perceived in life as a human, so this just shows that the Europeans have done more than enough by making aboriginals feel less then so Australia let's stand up together and so no to suppression, no to prejudice and stand up to inequality in our community
