We live in a respectful quiet community. Everyday I see an alarming increase of cars speeding down Iselle Drive in attempt to cut a few seconds of their travel time.
The vehicles are using our beautiful block to cut over from Upper Villagewalk Circle to Lower Villagewalk Circle. A couple of weeks ago I was out walking my 2 dogs and was almost run down by a resident of Jewel Fish Lane. I yelled at the speeding driver to slow down. Amazingly enough the driver, who himself had a child in the vehicle, then proceeded to speed up and burn tires as he turned onto Lower Villagewalk Circle.
We have many residents on our peaceful block that like to take evening strolls with their families. Residents who take bicycle rides to go get the mail. Other Residents who like to walk their dogs.
Finally but most importantly we have many children on our block who like to play soccer, basketball, or hockey on the street as well. My biggest concern is that someone will get hurt before the Association takes actions.
