My Brother, David Kehler lost his battle with Muscular Dystrophy this past June. He ate, breathed, lived the Winnipeg Jets. We have shared tons of memories as a family due to his love for hockey. Now we have memories of seeing half of the first returning season 2011-2012 of the Winnipeg Jets once again.
Dave never stopped from the minute the Jets announced that they were leaving in 1995. He was an intrumental part in the reason the Jets not only came back to our city but had a petition of over 13,000 to regain the name Winnipeg Jets. His efforts didn't go un-noticed.
Please help me in petitioning to have him honored at the beginning of the 2012-2013 season of our newly renewed Winnipeg Jets. I am hoping to make this a fundraising/awareness event for Muscular Dystrophy as well.
