I fully understand and appreciate the need to continue to support those abroad less fortunate than us in the UK, however, right now there are thousands of people suffering all over the country as a result of the terrible flooding and it's only going to get worse.
The UK taxpayer does more than enough for foreign countries - how about we revert to the old motto "charity starts at home" for once and donate this years fundraising to those effected by the floods.
