Background (Preamble):
The Bay Rollers roller derby league have been together for almost two years now. We are a not-for-profit sporting association with 50 members and counting! We promote a safe and supportive environment for women of all ages and fitness levels to participate in roller derby - the fastest growing women's sport in the world!
Unfortunately there is a common misperception that roller skating causes damage and extra wear on timber flooring within sports stadiums and centres.
This wrong assumption has been an issue for us gaining access to suitable venues for both trainings and competitions.
By signing this petition, you can help The Bay Rollers gain access to the new Sports Complex in Byron Bay.
