Heart of Denver Dogs is a community group for dog owners who believe in the health, welfare, and socialization of our pets. Due to geographic limitation such as condo living and zero yards, pet owners need to get the City of Denver and our representatives on board to allow us the freedom to exercise, solcialize, and play freely but responsibly in our local parks.

We are asking for off leash hours in all Metro Parks in a safe and community oriented way.
Dear Denver Dog Owners,
In lieu of recent activities regarding the Denver Dog Park Master Plan, recommendations for off-leash hours and additional parks has been tabled until 2011. That is to include the pilot program at City Park for off-leash hours.
The dog opposition made their voices heard loud and clear at the recent public meeting and the City of Denver listened. It is time to make a commitment to our pets and communities to make Denver Dog Owners heard. HeartofDenverDogs.com has been created to give our dog community an easily accessible forum to discuss, organize, and take action.
First on our agenda is to collect as many DOG OWNER signatures to voice our concerns regarding the latest step backward in making Denver a dog friendly community & to take back the pilot for City Park off-leash hours. Please sign the petition below and give us your email address.
We will be posting the Denver Master Plan, up to date activities, functions, etc. The signatures will be delivered to our council persons to let them know that we are as serious as the opposition.
