The Butte County Office of Education has made a rule for all preschools in the Butte County area, to NOT allow celebrations of any type for any reason.
This also includes any graduation celebrations, as well as graduation ceremonies to take place. They have also taken away from these children anything that represents a graduation, and congratulations. Nothing is to be shown that these children have done an outstanding job.
We the parents of Children, attending Eastside Children's Center, are complaining, and fully disagree about our children NOT being ALLOWED to have a graduation ceremony, for achieving the accomplishments that they have completed so well.
We would like cap and gown, and to be able to walk and accept the diploma, and be able to take pictures with cap and gown, and have a the graduation ceremony that they fully deserve.
This is the last time that these children will be in preschool, and a milestone that they have reached and is widely deserved of a graduation party.
These signatures represent a change in this, and for there to be a graduation ceremony/party.
Do not take it away from these children.
