MassHealth is state and federally funded medicaid program for needy individuals and families. The program helps over a million people who NEED these services.
Massachusetts still plans to cripple MassHealth, threatening to leave some children, low-income families, HIV infected, and people with disabilities with no healthcare coverage. The govenor and legislature should consider all other options to increase funding, not cut it, to support the program by raising revenue from the source of the high costs of insurance such as cigarettes and alcohol. The Federal Government matches the fund by one half. Cutting MassHealth reduces the funds recieved, further destroying the program. Sign/Vote to fund MassHealth!
