Freedom of Speech should cover threats

Background (Preamble):
The first amendment to the Constitution says that the right to freedom of speech may not be abridged. Later the Supreme Court ruled that threats are not covered under freedom of speech.
The job of the Supreme Court is to interpret the Constitution and no where in the Constitution does it mention or imply any restrictions on freedom of speech. This Supreme Court ruling was wrong and needs to be fixed.
