Mountazer Al Zaidi is the journalist who threw a pair of shoes on George W. Bush, a week ago in Bagdad.
Since then, he has been unjustly arrested, mistreated, badly injured and kept in jail without trial.

Mountazer Al Zaidi is the journalist who threw a pair of shoes on George W. Bush, a week ago in Bagdad.
Since then, he has been unjustly arrested, mistreated, badly injured and kept in jail without trial.
This man has expressed in a simple action the freedom of expression of the entire world.
May I also remind that Al Zaidi is a well known journalist, educated and highly considered in his country.
He shouldn't be penalized for expressing loudly and bluntly the opinion of million of persons throughout the world, but who never had the opportunity to act on.
Please join us if you think that freedom of expression is a basic human right, paramount to every civilization, and that we still need to defend in the 21st century.
