Micheal Vick has pleaded guilty to dogfighting charges. In his written plea, Vick admitted helping kill six to eight pit bulls and supplying money for gambling on the fights.
He said he did not personally place any bets or share in any winnings.
We, the undersigned, call on the federal government to drop the charges presented against Micheal Vick.
Though dogfighting is a serious crime, there are other less known athletes and everyday civilians who have participated in dogfighting who have either had felony charges dropped or their case dismissed.
Mick Vick is simply being used as an example because of his elite status.
