Derryn Hinch stands up against sex offenders, he has now been jailed for not paying a contempt fine.
Derryn Hinch, the Human Headline has announced he is ready to go to jail for 50 days after he was found guilty of contempt of court.
In a staunch bid to stick to his guns, Hinch breached a supression order. He was ordered to pay a $100,000 fine.
He decided not to pay it on principle.
"I'll go to jail for 50 days to draw attention to all the suspended sentences for crimes of violence and child pornography, for the obscenely short sentences given to king-hit killers," he said.
Update March 7, 2014:
Hinch released. So now we need freedom of speech so Derryn Hinch can name and shame Pedophiles.
