It has been a travesty for Middlemore Hospital to have paid car parks for families and visitors visiting their loved ones who are sick and even dying from terminal illnesses.
We the undersigned respectfully endorse this petition to immediately have all car spaces at Middlemore Hospital become free due to the Hospital being an essential necessity of life for all New Zealanders and is not a business for making a profit and all New Zealanders have a right to free Health paid by our taxes.
We the undersigned request from the New Zealand Government free car parks situated at Middlemore Hospital and roads in close proximity due to endorsing Health as a necessity of life.
Loved ones are visited by their families who are ill and terminally ill and having to pay for a car park causes them undue stress where the Hospital is not are profit making organisation but a necessary one where peoples lives are prominent.
We are respectful to our Doctors and Nurses and Administration staff who also are requested to pay are also included in this petition. The Hospital is owned by the Government and all properties and it is with this in mind we accordingly endorse and sign this petition.
