In 2005 Ethiopians had an election that produced the best turn out we have ever seen in our history.
The TPLF government stole the election and imprisoned the members of the opposition. Highly motivated protestors came out to fight for their rights and we saw young people being shot dead just because they wanted to enjoy the basic human rights that we take for grated in democratic nations .
Now once again another election is upon us in 2015. The Ethiopian people deserve to have a government they have chosen through a free and fair election . The international community needs to put pressure on the current government to allow the voice of the people to be heard.
