Since the 'fota war' has now been resolved this petition has met the end of its purpose.

Background (Preamble):
FOTA wants to help F1 move forward where as the FIA wants to see it's grip on power secured.
Petition:
We, the undersigned, as fans of Formula one and the racing involved in Formula one wish to show our allegiance to FOTA (Formula One Teams Association) and it's proposals. We want to see stable governance of the sport with clear and transparent rules which apply to all competitors.
However, if a resolution is not formed with the power hungry FIA and a breakaway series is formed, although undesirable and against our wishes, we would like to voice our intentions to follow the new series as Formula one is only a name and we want racing with the fastest, most technically engineered cars; the most amazing engines in the world; the biggest teams; and the best drivers (all of which are provided by the members of FOTA and their employees).
Also, if it were to be run by people who love motor sport then hopefully we my be able to afford to attend races (name another sport which tries to rip off fans with $500+ tickets), this we want to see happen in whatever series we get to watch our favourite teams race in next year.
