The amount of fireworks that go off late into the night is unfair on the animals.
The amount of stress being caused to the animals and their owners is against the principal of animal welfare.
We, the undersigned call on the UK Government to ban the sale of fireworks to the general public and allow for firework displays to only take place on one weekend before or after Bonfire night, and on that day also.
As a nation of animal lovers we should not subject our pets to this stress with these loud noises and bangs.
