Just got my house insurance today, I new my rate would go up but that was not the shock! Have a look at your "FIRE SERVICE LEVY" ours went up 117%, last year $74.49, this year $161.99 that is OUTRAGEOUS, and to add insult to injury this amount is taxed with GST what a windfall for the government!
We are being abused by our government, call in the authorities!
Does this mean that the CFA's budget has gone up 115% ? for what? While it is mostly made up of volunteers who now also have to give more!
