Recently John Boel publicly posted on Facebook, a "joke" making fun of the transgendered community and specifically Caitlyn Jenner.
As a public figure and local news anchor, he should not be allowed to spread his hate and ignorance via our local television station.
The Transgendered Community is NOT a punchline for any joke and we demand the television station take immediate action and terminate John Boel before he is allowed to attack anyone else.
We, the undersigned, demand that hate and ignorance not be allowed to be spread through our community from anyone, including our local news anchors.
We demand that Wave-3 take immediate and appropriate action against John Boel by terminating his employment.
We will not watch Wave-3 until John Boel is fired. Hate is not welcome in Louisville, KY.
