Background (Preamble):
In Oakland County we have an extensive network of bike/walking paths. However, some communities are unable to safely access these paths by just a matter of a few hundred yards. As a result, these communities find themselves to be less desirable to potential residents. Real estate web sites refer to these neighborhoods as "car dependent".
