The main aim of this petition is to get people to voice their opinion on federalism without fear of intimidation what so ever and persuade the government to open up channels for people to debate the introduction of federal system of government in Malawi.
The question on everybody's lips is, do we really need the system in Malawi? Is it advisable for our country to change the government from Unitary System to Federal System?
Express yourself fellow countrymen, its either you are for FEDERAL SYSTEM OR UNITARY SYSTEM.
HAVE YOU SAY: Sign the petition, leave your comment, and lets stand united against government's failure to give people the platform to debate the matter.
We, the undersigned are asking that the Malawi Government should be more transparent in dealing with the ever growing calls for the introduction of federal system of government.
The government should stop ignoring the ever growing voices, the government should stop using/bribing chiefs to shut down the calls.
The government should stop misleading its citizens that Federal system is about dividing the nation.
Rather the government should open up channels for people to debate and let Malawians be the best judge.
Please join me and fellow Malawians who also believe in Federal system of Government as we spread this form around Malawi, so that EVERYONE has the opportunity to sign this form and make their voice heard.
