1978, Roman Polanski pled guilty to raping a 13-year-old girl. He cut a plea deal with prosecutors and while awaiting sentencing, jumped bail and fled to France where he has been since then.
Polanski is currently being held in Switzerland awaiting extradition to California.
We, the undersigned, call on the The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office to swiftly extradite Roman Polanski and prosecute him for crimes already committed as well as illegal flight from prosecution.
