We demand that you, Illinois State Senators, act swiftly to remove Governor Blagojevich from office and get to work doing the people’s business.
Petition:
We believe that our State Senators must act swiftly to prosecute and impeach Governor Rod Blagojevich. The people of the Illinois deserve a functioning state government and lose everyday that Blagojevich remains in office.
We the undersigned call on Illinois legislators to begin a new era in Illinois politics – one characterized by transparency, honesty and a commitment to always do what is best for the people of Illinois. So long as Rod Blagojevich remains in office, Illinois will be crippled by an ineffective government and covered with a cloud of corruption and dishonest.
We demand that you act swiftly to remove the Governor from office and get to work doing the people’s business.
