Background (Preamble):
Lack of parking spaces after 9.30pm and receiving unjustified fines for parking on double yellow lines beside blocks 649-651. Appeals have been made to HDB since Nov 2007 but to date the issue of insufficient parking lots has not been resolved.
On behalf of the community, I would like to write a petition to the MP and HDB to ensure proper action is taken in resolving the insufficient car park spaces is rectified before issuing unjustified fines.

Petition:
We, the undersigned, call on the MP, Mr Yeo Guat Kwang and HDB Car Park Head, Mr Gair to resolve the issue of insufficient parking lots at HG42.
1. Temporarily eliminate the enforcement actions of placing fines on cars that cannot find a parking lot at HG42 & HG43 although causing inconvenience of walking a far distance if required;
2. Lower or eliminate the season parking fees since we are paying for season parking but is unable to find a lot when we return home late;
3. Remove all fines issued in the last few weeks until more spaces have been built.
