Exempt I.D.O.C Correctional Officers and Parole Agents from Quinn's agenda!

Most individuals do not understand the physical requirements to stand a post at a State Prison or supervise released offenders in every community of Illinois. With Governor Quinn's and Leaders Madigan and Cross's plan to violate current constitional limitations it has been put to the real bosses of Illinois "taxpayers" to define what will be needed to balance the broken pension systems.

For over a decade the General Assembly has refused to make the agreed pension fund payments. I can tell you all that not one State Correctional Officer or Parole Agent has missed their payments. We will do our part again and make necessary and needed agreements, however, to force these professionals to continue working until the age of grandparents where physical fitness is a necessity is ludicrous.

The state would lose hundreds of thousands of dollars in workman's compensation payments due to aging employees being more supsetable for injuries and assaults by felons. Change must happen but they must be done in collective bargaining sessions.

Finally, to exempt State Correctional Officers and State Parole Agents would only require no more than 8,000 law enforcement professionals being allowed to continue their tours of duty according to what is needed not what is wanted by legislative leaders who for 5 months play with peoples lives like we are lesser human beings.
