While many activists may have good intentions, acts of ecoterrorism not only produce unacceptable and unnecessary collateral damage, but discredit the activists and the noble causes they fight for. Instead, true change can be accomplished through direct dialogue with the governing bodies and through the court system.
Please sign this petition if you believe that eco-terrorism is counter productive to true change. By advocating education and legal action, you can help to discourage acts of violence that do more to hurt the Earth than preserve it.
We, the undersigned, hereby declare that we will, to the best of our abilities, work to improve the treatment of Mother Earth through legal, non violent means.
Many people have resorted to violence and eco-terrorism in the hopes of evoking change. Instead, we the undersigned encourage these activists to instead legally work to change the system they so strongly disagree with. Also, we the undersigned agree to do our best to avoid violent means of action, and instead to use our power as part of the people to help save the planet.
